This is a pic of a typical Dutch landscape. I can hear you see no but it is . We have in a small area very diffent landscapes . This is what we call heatherfields Because the bottem layer is sand It has never been cultured only sheeps graze . Nowaydays it`s protected wildlife area

Wonderful shot. I love these places in Holland where the landscape looks untouched by man, they are few and far between and so make them extra special.
@maggie2@daisy As a fellow Dutchy I can say: yes, heather grows there, but it's hard to keep the trees away, they use sheep for that. Beautiful picture! I love my country!
