How to capture a Turdus merula - female

I always wanted to do some bird pic.`s but I`ve n`t the right equipment for it. But it`s wintertime and lots of birds visit our garden so I give it a try. Get some warm clothes on and have a quiet sit and wait for the birds to capture. After a hour and a half at last there was one , this black bird (our name `` Merel`` ) and I`ve my photo . I did wait an other half a hour and did capture an other bird for the pic tomorrow . Then I get back at the house , numb with cold and rigid bones. It takes that same time to recover.
She is lovely. I hope you have had the chance to warm up. Looking forward to seeing your shot for tomorrow.

I like your natural shot and you still have snow! A true 365er to spend all that time in the cold for a photo. (Interesting: merel in Dutch and merle in French.)

Haha, cool narrative, Pyrrhula. What one has to do do get a good shot sometimes. This is a pretty bird and you captured him very nicely.
