What`s come`s down , most go up

As a lot of our country is below sea level we have to collect the (rain)water and pump it up in canals that leads it to (at last) the sea. On this pump stations we relay on that we keep dry feet . (in the old day`s windmills did this job) Watch the different water levels between the ditch and canal.
Very necessary in your reclaimed land but don't windmills look so much nicer

Lovely composition with that red roof. I always enjoy your narratives too. It's amazing how your country can be below sea level and it doesn't get flooded.

A little twist on Isaac Newton or was it Blood Sweat & Tears? I like the clarity in the detail of the building!

@skipt07 Thanks for the comment . I thought it was a English/Am. saying : what goes up must come down.

@pyrrhula - I have read where Sir Isaac Newton who was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, and alchemist and who formulated the laws of gravitation made that statement that, "What goes up must come down." In the 1960's a rock group known by "Blood, Sweat and Tears" Sand a song called, "Spinning Wheel" in which the words, "What goes up must come down" opens the song.

This is very interesting! It's hard to imagine though that the sea is higher than the land in this picture with the horizon in the distance and the wide open sky. Nice shot.
