Hanging Cuisines
Imagine yourself in a foreign country far away in Appingedam where the people because of lack of space left stick their kitchen over the canal Damsterdiep. Groningen and Appingedam are the two medieval towns to the province. The hanging kitchens are the most famous landmark of the city, which in 1972 was given the designation conservation area. Appingedam still looks unmistakably like a town. In the center are many of origin admire medieval buildings. With the most famous sights of the three hanging kitchens and narrow bridges over the canal Damsterdiep.
Hier zijn ze Beb. Ik kon het niet laten.

I'd love to have my little kitchen right over the canal, complete with a balcony! That way I could eat outside whenever the weather is fine. This is so neat! Also that it was given the designation conservation area!

I saw this on your other picture yesterday and find it interesting. looks like their whole kitchen is sticking out. we just have an overhang on the side of our house and a very small part of our many kitchen cupboards is sticking out. when you're inside our kitchen, you don't notice it.
