When I started 365 it was challence for me to do 365 photographs worth to take and to watch. After reaching it the target changed and grows .Now I`ve done 2222 pic.`s. . I `m amazed I did this. Time for me to think it over or I got to continue or not. Do the pic.`s still have a quality and not being a repeat I did. several times before.? Also to say farewell to my true followers is difficult. Although , by all those years more than halve of them allready dissapears and often I feel very sorry for it.
This heatfield was a great place to have a nice walk, to think it all over and make up my mind.
I finally did bring it back to two questions. What is the need of taking pic.`s and do n`t share them. And can you say goodbye to this great community ?
No....don't leave...your pics are very interesting, as is the little story you tell with them. As you say....it is nice to share your pics with others, and to get comments and suggestions :)
Certainly, I can relate to your thoughts, as I have the same reservations. My approach now is to just post photos as the mood dictates. I am still here, but much less than previous years. I enjoy this community way too much to leave it entirely and I love how it is there for me when I need it :)
Wow Ferry! Deep thoughts!!! I hadn't actually realized just how many photos you'd taken! I can only speak for myself, but without a place to share my photos, I'd not enjoy taking them. By taking them, I'm continuing to practice daily, and I do love photography. I take part in no other site than 365, so to leave this, I'd not have contact with so many of my friends. I miss those who have left, and often think I'll write them an email, but days pass and I don't do that. For me, there's the connectedness and the reason to continue to practice my photography. And I do love that this is a social site as well where we can sometimes have some rather meaningful conversations! I hope you'll continue to stay on!
So much to think about here Ferry -- it becomes a way of life , , to share and enjoy the photos of others -- just listen to your heart and you will do the right thing for you ! This is a lovely scene !
Ferry, if you are like me, I can't think of not being on 365. yes I also had a few followers quit and often still I wonder how or where there are now. do they not miss the comradery with their followers and friends. I used to take pictures for all of my 3 albums, not now anymore. one a day is plenty and when I feel like posting another one, I do. knowing I that I don't have to post everyday makes a difference. you know that a lot of people will miss you and your pictures and I'm sure you feel the same way when you quit. so why not post when you have taken a special picture and forget the days when you don't feel up so it. don't close your account. I know if you don't post a picture in 12 month they probably automatically close it and you'll loose everything you posted over the years. just keep it active.
Thank you Ferry for all of your nice comments. you speak wisely. the green in my maple leaf picture an opening, it's like looking through a window and instead of green leaves, you see the green grass on the opposite neighbor's lawn.also I appreciated the fav., Ferry.
Beautiful shot, Pyrrhula. I've been on here awhile, too, and also struggle with whether to cut back or not. After finishing my first year, it became less stressful. I really enjoy taking pictures and enjoy editing them so I guess if I have them I might as well share them. I have tried to cut back some, though. I do understand how you feel, though, but I hope you continue sharing your wonderful shots with us. If you enjoy it, why not?
Beautiful shot, Pyrrhula. I'm with you, I so enjoy using this site to share my photos. If I would stopped, I'm sure I would need to still show my pictures to others and, in truth, I would be hard pressed to find another more warm and generous community. I would certainly miss your photos if you decided to leave!
Lovely lighting here. 365 is rather addictive. I use my project to journal my life through photography and as the year draws to a close I have the 3 albums compiled into 3 books. I have been involved with 365 since 2012.

I love to see your photos Ferry. You must do what is best for you but I dont think I would take many photos if I didnt have this great community to share them with. Dont let it be a pressure, it must be enjoyable. I certainly would miss you if you left.
What a great place to walk and to think about what to do. I would certainly miss seeing your wonderful photos, if you decided to leave. I've been here for less than a year and a half, but I love the community and I've learnt so much. I hope to see a lot much more of your beautiful country, through your lens :)
A nice shot of this lovely heathland. Can I say how much we have enjoyed your photos and how much we have learned about your interesting country through them. Whatever you decide to do, it is your decision to make. 365 is a major commitment, but a great place to meet many interesting people.
Decisions, decisions. I hope you stay. I just enjoy taking photos and sharing them. I am sure I wouldn't take as many photos if I didn't do 365 and so I wouldn't have as much exercise either. Lovely place to reflect.

Their awesome advice and help has been brilliant. Last year when I struggled so much with Dad, I hardly had time to take photos, let alone post and comment. This year, I am also struggling, as I am slowly coming to terms with the fact that I miss dad. I take photos when I can and post them when time permits. Have not looked for new friends, just return visits.
One thing I have noticed is that my photography has improved dramatically. This is my main reason for staying. Plus, learning about other countries is always interesting. Feels like I go and visit them with each visit. The choice is yours. Just take it easier and post when you can.

Please don't stop! I love looking at your photos each day. I began because of your toadstools and now admire all of your landscapes. It is a little piece of The Netherlands each time. When you look back at your collection you must be very proud of what you have achieved. Please keep going!!
Lees dit achteruit, dus weet al dat je blijft :-) Gelukkig! Ik kijk altijd graag naar je foto's. Het zijn precies de twee vragen die me hier houden, maar niet meer zo intensief als voorheen. Een paar keer in de week, niet elke dag meer.
