View on the sea.

The dunes are strictly protected area`s. There are mostly only a path trough it to reach the beach. On the other hand , you don`t like to walk trough those nasty thorn bushes we call : ``duindoorn`` (Hippophae rhamnoides) there are growing on.

@ubobohobo The dune has a great value for us. Not only it protect us from flooding, Lots of cities drinking water depend on it. The water filtered by, and pumped out,of the dunes is great fresh drinking water.

Our dunes are protected too. It took many years but people finally realized how important they were on so many levels- wildlife and protecting the mainland to start with! Nice shot.
