Parelhoen. Guinea fowl (Numididae) are poultry- like birds with many subspecies . They are also called polecats or dot chickens (from poule-pintade, in French a guinea fowl is called a pintade). The guinea fowl originates from Africa and resembles the turkey. ( Wikipedia)
