All the shortages of groundwater caused by the long hot dry summer have now been replenished
What a muddy mess. That will slow down planting. Looks like more to come.

You must have had lots of rain because the fields are flooded. And I am praying for rain - we haven't had any these last two months and all the ground is dry and I am watering the plants as if it were Summer.

A super dramatic sky - fav!. We have had lots of rain and storms, and much farmland in the Vale of York is flooded. A hard time for farmers.
