Had to drop Jinks at the vet's for a small op this morning so I walked over to South Pond in Bishops Waltham to see if my friend the goose was there. Which she (could be a he?!) was - together with half a dozen ducks.
A passing dogwalker came over and told me that the fishermen at the pond 'want rid of' the goose and ducks, which have been 'dumped there' by somebody, because they interfere with their fishing. Well, I like them.............
Just seen that my rose shot from yesterday is on PP - thank you so much everyone, as ever, for your vote of confidence, much appreciated.
Thanks for asking, Karin - he seems a little bit upset but is OK, just had to have some warts removed under local anaesthetic. (I hate it when he has anything wrong!)
@quietpurplehaze Good to hear it wasn't anything major. He is such an adorable dog and I really enjoy seeing him on photos- he surely knows he looks good at them
Looks like she/ he is posing for you to take the portrait. You got great definition on the feathers. You'd think the geese would add interest and challenge to their fishing. Otherwise fishing is so boring. Though, probably the reason why I don't catch anything is because I pull out my book too soon.
I think the fishermen feel the most hard done by! And the ducks and the goose look very healthy.

Congratulations on being popular :)
