She's an Alaskan bald eagle and lives at Liberty's in the New Forest near Ringwood, located, strangely enough, at Crow Lane. Is she called 'bald' because she looks (to me, at least) as if she's wearing a judge's wig?
I think she has a stern eye, too.

Wonderful portrait of this noble bird! I think they are called "bald" because of the contrast between their white heads and dark bodies. You don't see the ruffled feathers from a distance.
