Yesterday afternoon, the boldest squirrel found a delicacy (perhaps a raisin-in-the-making) on the ground under the vine which grows on the kitchen wall and leapt on to the gate post of Jinks' enclosure to savour it.
Luckily for me my camera was sitting on the dresser next to the patio window and luckily for me I saw the squirrel before Jinks did.
Posted for my 365 friend, Andrea, @andreajoy who likes squirrels but has none in her native New Zealand. Andrea, some folk here would say you are lucky not to have them burying hazelnuts in your lawn and digging up your spring bulbs from the garden pots!
Wonderful capture! I love you depth of field and the squirrel is so sharp and showing off his bushy tail. Yes it's true girls have good points and bad points but they are fun to watch.
Awesome details and love the close up of this cutie!! I love the squirrels, even when they eat all my bird feed!!! We have enough woods so we only get a few every now and then. This is great and the details amazing!!
