thanks to Doro Pesch for my title, thanks to my son for loaning me a CD or two a few years ago

never been to such a concert, love the music

Fri 13th today - my dad told me it was a lucky day for him but he never told me why
Beautiful swan - fav! Also love the music, I'm an aged hippy with rock music tendencies, although I do like many styles of music! Exception is opera - just can't listen to it!

Beautiful swan. He has travelled a long way. All our swans in Australia are black.

@lyndamcg

Like you, I like many styles of music. The one I cannot listen to is modern jazz which sends me up the wall - very quickly!

I always think 13th is a lucky day too but then I was born on one! Nice swan - fascinating when they are black. I love many many genres of music though I have moved away from my youth when I was a bass player in a heavy metal band for a while!! My natural niche is far more gentle, melodic and with a penchant for beauty.

Black Swan - brings to mind the rather unsettling film of recent years. But this is a nice shot.

@jmdspeedy @gijsje @jyokota @onewing @seattlite @amyk

Thank you for visits - black swans are always more interesting for me than white ones- perhaps a bit easier to photograph!

@quietpurplehaze Yes, I did. I was fascinated and horrified at the same time.

@quietpurplehaze I was 15 at the time and the lead singer. Our bass player quit a week before a gig after an argument with the lead guitarist and as I could already play piano and guitar, they decided I ought to be able to wing it on the bass and learn how to play it in less than a week and sing at the same time. Rather like rubbing your head and patting your tummy as the bass often goes in contrary motion to your voice, but I got the hang of it and did the gig! I gained a whole new respect for the talents of Paul McCartney at that point being able to do this so easily! Cowboy boots, spray on jeans and long permed curly hair......oh my.......well it was the end of the 70's! My Smoke on the Water was infamous.......
