Mottisfont Abbey by quietpurplehaze

Mottisfont Abbey

It was so good to get out for a little photoshoot even if the weather was a bit grey - and even if I missed that kingfisher!

Inside the house the current exhibition is about the work of Heath Robinson and really unexpected and interesting.
Lovely perspective framed by the trees Hazel, as a child I loved studying those wonderful Heath Robinson cartoon sketches/inventions:)

Great shot. I visited the house just before Christmas. It is a great place

A very impressive building.

The Heath Robinson cartoon sketches would be interesting to see. I used to have a print of one of his 'Inventions' on my kitchen wall many years ago. No idea what happened to it, I think it got lost in one of our moves.

I like how you've framed using the tree branches and not placed the Abbey in the centre of the composition.
