in the pink

I have often seen these berries in white but pink is new to me this year.

We used to call them snowberries.
Lovely effect. Are they edible?

I wonder if that is a genus or a cross breed? Fascinating! I have never seen them in pink either. Fabulous colour.

Great find -- not a new variety - my Dad in the 70s saw one of these and bought one - he already had the white in the garden !

We get something similar - small purple berries on bare stems, we call Beauty Berries!

These are lovely - I haven't seen them before either - only the white ones. I wonder what it looks like in flower.

Lovely in pink as a change. When we were children we used to have a not very nice name for the white ones as they are slimy when squashed.
