Our next-door-but-two neighbour, now 95, always plants seeds from his previous year's sunflowers.

I went over and took some photos of this year's crop.

This has such crisp detail and exceptional light. Late summer without sunflowers is almost unthinkable. I will have to collect seeds and give it a try.
