the rule of odds

An unkind title perhaps for these beautiful white roses but it is the subject this week in the 52 week challenge, odds being apparently more pleasing than evens in a photo.

I am not sure I chose a very good subject to illustrate the composition.

Odds are more pleasing. When I used to do the flower arrangements for function s in the mess we always had odd numbers of flowers, even numbers just stood out so clearly as being wrong.
I love the lighting on this photo.
