fading

As usual, the one rose in my bunch of flowers started drooping well before all the others.

So I put it out on the patio table rather than in the bin, as the colour was still nice.

After a couple of days out in the cold, it seemed to revive so I took its photo and brought it back indoors - bizarre.

Faded maybe, but certainly very lovely.

Sometimes trimming the bottom of the stems, laying the flowers down and submerging them in water for a while will also revive them :)
