Happy Birthday Haze, this is a lovely photo of you, pin sharp nifty fifty , lovely bokeh and a nice smile too . Square format too , which is a great way to present portraits
Phil, thanks for birthday wishes. This was taken with my newest lens (sadly not a bargain from a charity shop!): 18-105mm constant f4. I always try to set it to 50mm for portraits and after you commented I checked the exif and I see that I got it spot on!! (I gave Ray strict instructions not to touch the barrel after I set it up - good job he knows me well!)
Thanks for your visits Junko. I find it quite interesting what makes a good b&w or colour photo. In this case I agree with you. (Although to me, I appear to be smiling more on the colour shot - which of course I am not!!)
We did after going to Petworth Park en route home. I got several awful shots! Wrong lens I think!
Just had a look at my efforts and one or two might be OK to post.
Happy Birthday 😊
Oh yes, already in my possession here!
So kind!
Thank you, a bit different from my usual woolly pull-on!
Happy birthday for yesterday, Gillian!

Thank you, kind sir!
Thank you - Ray is a good photographer but has really given up now as he thinks one in the family is enough.
Thanks for the lovely comment, as ever, Peter!
Have a look! http://365project.org/quietpurplehaze/add-ins/2018-12-20
