Visiting Petworth last week, I felt I recognised one of the room guides and, speaking to him to say just that, we both realised that he was one of my early stranger portraits: No.3 back in Sept 2015.
Roger told me that he has been using the photo which I took then as his profile pic for social media.
He volunteers at Petworth in the role of butler in costume interpretation and often has his photo taken but still prefers mine and mentioned 'professional'. I hastened to dispel this notion but I am flattered nonetheless!
Roger agreed to a follow-up photo and I hope he finds it suitable to replace his profile picture. Indoor lights, as often, were a slight problem so I have converted the shot to black and white which I quite like for portraits.
Hazel, this is the lovely gentleman who posed lasst week for my get pushed photo who I ran away from so quickly after snapping him!! Now I know I should have said "You've met my friend please pose for me too!!"
This portrait is lovely and he should update his profile pic to this professional looking one.
