Ray bought two pots of white hellebores last winter. He kept them in their pots on the deck which means they are in profuse flower way before the purple Christmas roses growing in the garden near the stream and the hazel trees.
There will surely be a photo of a purple hellebore on my stream in a few weeks time.
Very pretty! Mine in the garden have lots of leaves but no sign of flowers yet. They will be pale pink when they do flower. I am sure they were darker a few years ago but seem paler each year now.
