I have known hellebores in white, pink and purple but, for me, this is the first in black. It’s called black swan and we saw it in the plant shop at Mottisfont Abbey one day this week where we had gone for a walk around the winter garden.
So many heartwarming messages left on my last post. Thank you so much. That was one week ago and January has now become February. Scary stuff, the passage of time!
We are just having a quiet existence and I think to post on 365 maybe once a week. My response to comments on my photos will be reciprocal comments on yours.
Once upon a time my son introduced me to Doro Pesch and a little Metal:
This is a very beautiful and striking image. Lovely to see you on here. You take your time, whatever works for you. Sending lots of love to you and Ray xxx
Such a beautiful flower. I love the colour. Hope all is well with you and Ray and you are enjoying your relaxing and well earned break together. Take care of each other and take it easy. Lots of love xx
Gorgeous flower Hazel...good to see your name pop up so soon! I always associate purple flowers with you so this is definitely you! Good to find out you are both OK.
Pretty flower, Hazel. Wow, that's quite a video! Hope you and Ray are adjusting to your new quieter life. You'll know when you're both ready to pick up the pace again.
