...a fish and chip lunch. Well I managed, of course, but I often wonder why the fish is artistically perched on top of a heap of delicious chips making it difficult to eat either of them.
Definitely more upmarket these days. I can't help feeling that fish and chips used to taste much better wrapped in newspaper when I was a child though.
I think programmes like Master Chef have a lot to answer for with presentation. It does look delicious though.

Some eateries serve up the fish 'n chips with 'faux' printed newspaper on the plate!
