The passionflower which Ray bought to clothe the naked tree stump where a conifer was cut down, took a long time to settle. In fact he thought it was dead.
Then it started to produce a flower a week and now it's covered in flowers and buds and has reached the top of the trunk and been trained back downwards again.
The bees seem to be puzzled by the structure of the flower which is probably the reason why we have no fruit as yet.
Wow stunning series of purple flowers. We had to take out our passion fruit plant when our retaining wall had to be replaced. Once we get the area organized I must buy another plant I think they are such gorgeous flowers. fav
