snowy owls

We saw this rather unusual owl sculpture in an exhibition at the arboretum. At the time we could not think where we might put it in our garden.

After Ray had built Jinks' enclosure, we knew what to do.

Hubby spotted a long eared owl in the trees in our garden; we hear him almost every evening when it's getting dark.
