the last piece of grass by quietpurplehaze

the last piece of grass

When Ray redesigned the back garden, he decided to remove most of the lawn.

When Jinks came to live with us, he claimed this circle of grass as his own and used to take his trophies - permitted or prohibited - there to enjoy them.
Oh dear. But what a lovely piece of grass, otherwise! Nice shot.

Thank you so much for your comments on the garden. I started this with a wide subject as a bit of a 'cop-out' way to do the April challenge, not knowing how much interest it would generate. I cannot take any credit for the garden - unless you count a bit of desultory dead-heading now and then. Ray walked round the garden with his mobile a couple of days ago and made a short video - I'd love to. show it but am at a loss how to load it up to 365.
