In an effort to lighten the mood around me, cheer up the grey weather and, just because he was a lovable rascal, I have been posting photos and snippets about Jinks on my Facebook page.
And I thought I might share just one or two here. Some of you may feel you have heard it all before! In any case please tune out now if the idea bores you.....
Jinks liked sitting at the top of the stairs: he could see what was going on; if he thought a bath was imminent, there was a quick getaway under an upstairs bed.
He did keep some boundaries: he hardly ever came into our bedroom; he would sit just outside the doorway and look in; if he ever did venture in he would never, ever, hop up on our bed.
The bed in the 'guest room' was fair game but our bed was definitely forbidden - no training necessary…
Lovely little face peeping over the top of the stairs. I have seen the odd Jinks story on FB but I seem to have rather zoned out of there lately only doing the odd ‘like’!
He sounds as though he was a very well behaved boy in the house, only in the garden did his escapee tricks let him down! 🤣

Definitely safe - we stay home! And yes, I think we are sane - I don't mind being at home, plenty to do. You take care.
I fell head over heels in love with Jinks. He always made me smile.
Interesting as his cat-like behaviour in another context was remarked upon by a friend!
