cake on a plate

a culinary half and half

One-bowl chocolate flake cake

4ozs each of SR flour, caster sugar and marge/butter
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
2ozs dark cooking chocolate, sliced v fine

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Put mixture in a greased loaf tin and bake for around 3/4 to one hour on a low heat say 160.
