listening

He flew down and alighted on a wooden garden seat as we walked past. I took half a dozen photos as he just sat and looked at us before flying off.

He seemed to be listening to the camera shutter. Or maybe he was wondering what happened to summer...........

Many thanks everyone for your visits, comments and favs. I only have one lens (55-210mm) capable of catching a robin like this and very unusually had taken it with me to Hilliers Arboretum. I was amazed how tame the robin was. There were 3 of us and he looked to be 'sizing us up'!
