All the flowers/fruit you see here are currently adorning our back garden.
Unfortunately, as you may know, the box hedge, bottom right, lovingly planted and nurtured by Ray, has fallen victim to the box tree caterpillar and is now a very sorry bare sight.
Ray ever-optimistic, thinks it will revive - let's hope so.
It was Ray's 21st birthday again yesterday so maybe he can regard this as my belated birthday card to him!
Gorgeous collage and such a lovely record of your garden at this time of year.
Even very great gardens have issues with box hedges. Our closest NTS garden at Pitmedden has been working on their box hedges for several years. Hope Ray succeeds.
Lovely record of your garden at this moment in time. Ray looks very relaxed here but I can’t help wonder if he gets to do too much of this relaxing. Keeping a garden in this lovely condition seems to require unending tweaking here and there.
Happy belated birthday to Ray….I haven’t read that one of Kristin Hannah’s must check it out….glad Ray is able to sit in the garden…must be a bit warmer than up here.

Happy Birthday Ray 🎉🎂
Joanne, he likes nothing more than being in the garden tweaking!
We had lunch in the garden the last two days and it's warm enough to be outside until nearly 6 o'clock.
