colourwashed
Old houses, and sometimes new ones, are often colourwashed in Suffolk. I particularly like the pink ones - they don't come in purple!
These are in Framlingham.

Once again I've learnt something on 365 so thanks for your question, Sharon. Had a bit of trouble finding the answer but you are right: e.g. red ochre + limewash = pink.

No, just luck - it's quite a quiet market town!
