The heart of Wickham, where my friend and I had lunch yesterday, is a huge square surrounded by the most beautiful old buildings. Alas, the supremacy of the car means that it's one great car park and very difficult to get good shots of the buildings. So I pointed my camera upwards for an uncluttered photo.
Note that the sky was blue!
This is pretty cool. I'm just thinking that it would have been a SOOOO awesome abstract. If you could have gone backwards from the wall, and then framed the roof, windows and clock all in one plane, and shot at like f/8 - f/11 or so with a telephoto to flatten it, then you would have seen the clock and the windows and the roof forming a quad like shape.
I don't know what the heck I am talking about. Just, it would have been even better!!!! Neat shot. Love seeing the area around where you live.
I did laugh (quietly!) when you said you didn't know what the heck you were talking about - I was trying very hard to follow you! Actually I think I might try to get into some abstracts................... Thanks for stopping by!
Love the clouds reflected in the windows. I know what you mean about the cars. There is a hill I drive over regularly that would give me access to some great pictures, but I would have to stop in traffic and stand in the turning lane to take them. I've decided that this is not a good idea and would probably expose me to the wrath of the local police, not to mention the other drivers. I have to content myself with hypothetical photos when topping the hill.

Don't stand in the road, Kathleen! It would not be a worthy sacrifice!!!
