I think this is a young squirrel which has climbed, very cautiously and taking long still pauses, to the top of our neighbour's dead 30 ft tall conifer. It was joined by another squirrel and they both started to come down. I think it was his mum as she next fled to the roof of our house making calling/warning sounds. She's disappeared (Look out, a 365 photographer!) and the little squirrel is still immobile almost at the top of the tree.
And thunder is rumbling around and we haven't done the morning walk.
So it's definitely 0 to the squirrel still stuck at the top of the tree and 0 to me with a triptych of mediocre photos.
This is still a great action sequence. He will sort it out. As we say in the brigade, you don't see any cat skeletons in trees, they all eventually come down :)
A beautiful collage of tree lovely squirrel pic.`s .
Mediocre ? I love it that they are not as clear as they use to be. Makes a great atmosphere and it`s more to the real.
He's come down, now! It started to absolutely tip with rain and he moved like the speed of light!!!

Kathleen, thank you - I'm still really hoping for a squirrel close-up! Or even a robin close-up!
What rain we had yesterday but it turned out nice. Dark again this morning so hope it will do the same!
