Quite hardy really. A friend has a slightly different variety which grows on a sheltered side wall and flowers nearly all year.

Lovely plant. I think this is Abutilon "Kentish Belle" as I had a couple at my last house. The bees love it!

Some friends have taken cuttings and have pots and pots of this variety in their garden. Our is one straggly plant! But it gives nice flowers.

I'll tell the gardener! (Actually I'm not a gardener but I can see that if you cut back our spindly little plant there would be nothing left - but I'll tell the gardener.....)
