Sometimes when we visit Woolbeding Gardens, there is produce available on a 'take and donate' basis. This time I spied kohlrabi aka German turnip. And then I realised it was displayed in a heart-shaped basket and thought of my 365 friend Beverley and her album 'hearts are everywhere'.
Photos and words, staying in the moment, keeping enthused, maintaining equilibrium. Photography is my passion: the stories it tells; the inspiration it brings.

I am just thinking where my purple reputation began: at my first job after leaving school I did buy a beautiful purple coat, which I can visualise even now!
@quietpurplehaze21 haze I think we get to know someone's style , compositions , use of colour ... I think that passes as recognising their art 🎭. Have a great weekend 📷

. sometimes we feel someone's art 💜
Phil, that's something beautiful to say about feeling someone's art and I take it as a cherished compliment, thank you!
Phil, definitely all of that! Happy weekend!
We had never eaten kohlrabi so this was a new experience. We ate it raw and loved it. I just thought of you when I saw the 'hearts basket'!
The kohlrabi, as you can see, look a bit like purple sputniks but when peeled are nearly white. We ate them raw and crunchy.
Purple reigns!
It was a lucky find!
