Indian peahen on a tiled roof

We recently revisited Heale Garden. This peahen was walking along a roof on top of a wall. I like the idea that a wall was important enough for the builder to give it a roof!

The peahen looks rather regal looking out from the walled rooftop. It certainly gives it a sense of importance.

An elegant peahen standing tall & proud.

@angeg

I am not sure if it was camera shy or a bit proud!

Well spotted and a great capture.

Well spotted and taken..

What a cool thing to find!

[Carole Sandford]

It’s twisted its head round significantly, almost looks as if it’s on the wrong way round! It looks quite aloof up on its wall.

Nice capture!

Great shot.

@carole_sandford

I think owls can do that and maybe a peahen has the same talent!

Makes an interesting shot
