I'm glad its you and not me having to put up with all this snow for so long. By the way Kathy, we are heading over to Canada, the west coast, Rockies and then Alaska etc in May. Are they getting an extended winter like you guys are?
March 17th, 2014
@terryliv the west coast, Vancouver mostly gets rain. The Rockies are presently covered in snow and their main problem is avalanches. But by May you should be fine. Hope you enjoy Canada the west coast is spectacular.

Brrrrr! That looks cold, when do you stop getting snow over there?
March 17th, 2014
@judithdeacon By the end April the snow should gone! But we have been known to get snow in October!
March 17th, 2014
That's a phenomenal amount of snow. I hope the thaw starts soon.

March 18th, 2014
Yuck! not your photography... just the weather! Great shot of all that snow on the arbor.
March 18th, 2014
Oh my!!! Wonderful capture...however you have had more then your share of winter!!!

Good grief! That's just a whole lot of (unwanted) snow you've got there. I'm sorry. If it were December and days before Christmas, this would be beautiful (and I'd be terribly envious) but in mid-March, you'd just really rather not have to be shoveling snow off the grape arbors. Amazing that this is technically IN COLOR.

Yes, that was a peppermint leaf behind the stack of candy. Knew I wanted a bit of green in the photo and insisted on it being peppermint plant, for 'P' of course. Thanks for the fav on the pic. That was sweet of you. You had me laughing when you wrote that there'd been a discussion about possible Q words for today. I had quilt, quill, and quarters ($) on the list but thought I'd give the little quail a try first. She cooperated so I didn't have to figure out a substitute. Thanks for coming by for another peek at the project.

Oh no! I really feel for you...it's been a tough, long winter here but so much worse for you further north. I'm glad I don't have to shovel any arbours....the drive is bad enough. Fingers crossed it'll disappear almost as quickly as it came down.

This is a beautiful shot.

This feels so cold, but it will go.
March 18th, 2014
Wow, that looks to be a lot of snow, it would be very heavy too I would think!
March 18th, 2014
I'm amazed that it's straight from the camera and not b/w. I hope you get some sun soon
March 18th, 2014
That looks soooo chilly. I hope you get a break from the snow soon.
March 18th, 2014
Not sure about you but I'm getting the impression winter is stuck. Roll on spring
March 18th, 2014
I'm really beginning to see how snow and grey days are naturally black and white.
March 18th, 2014
wow that's a lot of snow, lets hope spring hurrays up
March 18th, 2014
Nice...a simple photograph of our March. I trust that you will take this same photo but in all seasons :)
March 18th, 2014
