A Little Village

This is only a small section of the lake that is covered with Fish Huts, obviously a popular past time! Not my idea of a good time!!

Thanks again for stopping by, your comments and favs are always appreciated!

A very cool shot Kathy, it does look like a popular sport.

Talk about lots of next door neighbors! - looks like they all agree on where the fish should be! Love your lighting on this.

Looks like a small village! I hope they don't get their lines tangled!

Great shot of these ice fishing huts. Ice fishing is very popular on Lake Winnipeg in Manitoba, where we spend our summers. My brother-in-law sends us photos of the ice fishing shacks during the winter . . . they even have an ice fishing derby every year. I agree with you . . . not my idea of a good time. :-)

There's practically a village out there! Cool golden tones the light's created.

The light is beautiful!

I love the golden tones of this -- and the way that at first glance, they look like hay bales in a field of wheat. Very cool.

Amazing! Your photo is gorgeous, but that ice is looking very wet!

Beautiful gentle lighting :)

The water here never got safe enough for this

Lovely capture and tones.

Lovely lighting. I am not convinced about spending any time in a small wooden hut standing on the surface of a frozen lake is enjoyable.

Lovely lighting and image

Wow. That ice is not looking too sturdy though. It must be cold inside those huts.

This is a neat shot!
