Bear Cub

Last week my husband and I heard this black bear rummaging around in our backyard at night, listening to his growls we thought he was much larger.
Seeing him in daylight we realized now he was just a cub, unusual to see him in the middle of the day. I had to be quick with the camera as they are more afraid of us than we are of them.

So sorry to hear about his mother. I do not think there is a chance of surviving freedom, and approaching people is a bad idea.
