Full Worm Moon by radiogirl

Full Worm Moon

March's full Moon goes by the name of Worm Moon which was originally thought to refer to the earthworms that appear as the soil warms in spring. This invites robins and other birds to feed - a true sign of spring! (Farmer's Almanac)

Thank you for your comments and favs on yesterday's photo of the "Ruffed Grouse".
Beautiful sign of spring

Noticed this morning how full and bright the moon was as I was waiting for sunrise. Interesting facts about the naming.
