Snow on tulips

My get pushed partner, Liana, challenged me to
try some selective colour - your choice of subject.
Since it snowed here, the challenge was not deciding on a subject (I had the flowers and most of it was done in camera) but was removing the rest of the colors (the green leaves and the yellowish tints around the stems and centers of the flowers) in Lightroom.
@kiwinanna I knew immediately this morning what my selective color photo was going to be. The challenge was to finalize it in Lightroom (some internet support for this) and to get dressed to go outside during the storm when I could be warm and dry in my house. I had fun. Thank you for the challenge, Liana.

@ziggy77 @craftymeg @vstrom @vignouse @summerfield @hajeka @homeschoolmom @kwind @tunia @pyrrhula @bkbinthecity @olivetreeann @jamibann @lynnz @ontiveros @cathieg @leananiemand @kiwinanna @overalvandaan @brillomick @kali66 @mandygravil @fbailey OMG! How thrilled I am to have so many wonderful comments and favs. Then to have found this also made the PP & TP. I'm sorry not to respond to each one of you, but some general responses. No harm was done to the tulips, although this shot and the rest of the time I spent outdoors that day may have led to the curd I've been enduring ever since. My camera does have selective color, but I actually only had to work on the green in the leaves and the yellow at the base of the petals, which I did in Lightroom. Thank you all again so much.

@stevepo Thanks for the follow. Hope that you enjoy 365 project. AS for the Get-Pushed challenge, I will do my very best to pull something out of the cupboard and do something special with it.
