Fibrous Diamonds

My get-pushed partner challenged me to photograph texture this week. I saw this cone of yarn this evening and decided to try to capture its coarseness. Probably best on black.

The close-up makes it look like jute string rather than yarn so you did indeed capture the texture.

The yarn is a jute-like texture and I bought it a number of years ago thinking I would make market bag(s) out of it. Nothing done with it yet so it's languishing in my yarn stash.
