Gift of Food
The prompt for this was "plated". Not exactly plated but tinned.

I retired in December of 2012 and want to learn how to use my digital SLR to take better photos. I began my 365 project...

Isn't "plated" like the accordian style folds of a skirt? Maybe that's plaited. Whatever, this is much tastier! Good shot!

The example given was a cheese and meat board, so I assumed"'plated" meant food on a plate or platter or whatever. If I'm not mistaken a skirt is pleated and braided hair is plaited. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

Definitely plated then! What an interesting way to say "food on a plate"!

Definitely not a term I'd use very often.
