What can you do? They grow where they want! "Round-Up" works pretty well but when you have that many it might not be that easy to get them all. At least they're pretty when they're yellow!
Just say you're growing Dandelions to make a salad (I only know you can eat them because it's sold in stores (and it tastes quite nice), but no idea which bit is actually edible)! :D
They do make great photos though - you will need to mow when the flower is there - don't give them chance for the seed heads. Hinds sight is a wonderful thing. :)
@stevepo Thanks Steve. I'll have to do a little research on that reference. @pyrrhula Thanks Ferry @olivetreeann I thought about Round up. Don't want to use to much of it. I think I'll invest in a pre-emergent either in the fall or next spring. Until then... I like them anyway. @miseria Good idea. The dark strip is actually the road in front of my house. Thank you. @kwind Thank you Kim @s4sayer Thanks Margo. Now I understand what Steve
( @stevepo ) was referring to. @pusspup Thank you Wylie. @novab Your time will come (as will the dandelions). I will confess, it's not quite this green, but pretty green. Thanks Nova. @ziggy77 Thank you Jo. The guy mowed earlier in the week and then these showed up. @craftymeg Thank you Margaret. @jamibann They are, aren't they. Thank you Issi.
@fbailey Thankd you Felicity. Do you want the fluffy state or the dandelion flowers? @will_wooderson Yup. We had bad storms yesterday and they took care of them. @haskar Thanks Haskar.
