50's radio show

Some young men and women who are members of a local high school music/drama program presented a program for our chuch tonight. The songs harkened back to younger years for most of us in the audience. The fellow in the hat did an interview as Elvis Presley and sang "Don't Be Cruel" with the other young men backing him up.
What fun! There’s a lot of talent out there — each new generation. So great they shared that with your church.

This looks like fun - they don't have evenings like this any more sadly

@mcsiegle @craftymeg @pyrrhula @tunia @fbailey Thank you Mary, Margaret, Ferry, Tunia, and Felicity. I went to the school's perfomance the next night. Different feel to it. Apparently this night was a rehearsal for the real performance.

Sounds like a fun program- although I'm glad to say I was only a baby in the 50's! Now I don't feel so old (o;

@olivetreeann Haha! I remembered the songs although not really my era. Our radio stations played oldies and newies, too.
