I understand that- I feel the same way when we lose power. I'm thankful that we now have a generator that will allow us to have just enough juice to run the lights and the hot water heater. I really like your set-up here and those cute little rubber duckies!
i went to the post office at 6 after i had my dinner. when i came back, i was about to take my shower and there was no water. apparently a burst pipe. i told the super to tell management to replace that darn pipe that's always bursting! yes, we do take things like this for granted. thankfully water was restored or i wouldn't be going to sleep. 😊
@grammyn Thanks Katy. I achieved my goal. @olivetreeann Thank you Ann. I'm curious about a generator. I don't like to be left high and dry and cold, sometimes. @summerfield I hate that about your pipe but glad it was fixed so you could go to bed. @kwind Thank you very much. @30pics4jackiesdiamond Thanks Jackie. Perhaps I should send the photo to the company who made the shower head. @kjarn You are so right. Electricity, water, heating, AC, internet. I would miss each one. @pusspup It was a great shower Wylie. @jamibann Thanks Issi. @vignouse I recognize that I am blessed. @wakelys Thanks Susan. Too many people don't have that, even in this country, even in town where I live. @jb030958 Thank you Jennie. @craftymeg Thanks Margaret. @fbailey Thank you Felicity. @haskar Thank you.
I asked Jeff where you might look into getting a generator if you were interested in getting one. He recommended talking to an electrician or contractor if you know one. They would be able to tell you about reliable products that would suit your needs. Loews and Home Depot do sell them BUT they are very cheap and poorly made and Jeff thinks you'd do better speaking to someone who could tell you about better ones. That being said, our neighbor did get one from Loews and it seems to be doing ok for him- but he's very mechanical. So, I'd talk to an electrician and see what they say first- if you're curious about them.
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry. @olivetreeann Thanks for the info. I was talking to a friend that reported some serious problems that could result from generators. I have to decide if this is a big enough problem to go that route. @ziggy77 Thank you very much Jo.
