Gratitude Day #6
I bought a new computer. Why is it so *?!# hard to transfer data and to set up a new computer. I've been at this since about 8AM this morning and it's now 4:30PM. Not done yet. I'm grateful that I have the time to go through this process. The patience, I'm afraid, is wearing a little thin.
I admire you for even attempting it! This is something that I would leave to someone else and not try myself! You are much braver than I am. This photo and the processing are a perfect depiction of how insane it must feel for you! Nicely done, Kathy
You are really brave for doing the tech thing- I probably would have brought the old computer to the store and had them do it for me. I would be afraid to do it myself! The way you processed the picture is perfect for your narrative!
Hi Kathy, it looks like you and I are partnered again this week! For your new challenge, how about trying a bit of light painting? Google "light painting images" for inspiration as needed. :-)
Thanks for everyone's supportive comments and encouragement. Well, I think I'm almost done. (This said at 10:51pm Sunday, two days later.) It's worth it. Lightroom is working so quickly as are the other programs on the computer. There is no Apple Store for 70+ miles. The computer (brand new) has already updated twice. I guess it will continue. Planned obsolescence is the name of the game anymore. But I am grateful I could do this myself. I don't want to fall behind too much.
This is exactly why I keep my current computer and put up with how sloooow it is!!
