Get Pushed Challenge #442
My get pushed partner suggested a faceless portrait or selfie. The challenges were two-fold. One, what is a faceless self portrait and two, why does someone want a photo of me. I found a good video called Faceless Portraits: Stay Focused with Doug McKinlay on Adorama (actually the video is on YouTube). It helped me find a way to do a self portrait without feeling uncomfortable.
@northy A cold and rainy day here. Soup cooking and clothes washing and drying. What better time to work on a challenge. Thanks for the challenge. I actually enjoyed it after overcoming my initial reluctance.

Gracious. Thanks to everyone for your view, your comments and favs. You have put the on the PP and TP and I actually had checked back in early enough to see them there. Amazingly enough once I got the focus clear it was a one shot wonder. And the only post processing was to increase the overall exposure a bit. I've started playing around an awful lot with post-processing and not paying enough attention to the photography basics. Need to work on that! Margaret ( @craftymeg ) and Jennie ( @jb030958) started a pair of socks but mostly they are filler, a take along because I'm going to start a shawl for a friend. Stash diving, too. (Yeah!) I'm glad that I got "professional permission" to just do hands because I'd rather do that than do me especially without a face.
