My turn today to post a photo of our weekly Pigmania game. Carrots were suggested intially because of the day's proximity to Easter (think rabbits). However, we soon found out, after some in depth research on the part of one members, that 4/4/2021 is actually International Carrot Day. How cool is that. My pigs were all over the carrots and ranch dip. We all enjoyed them heartily.
30 Days; One Subject Day #1 - I said I wasn't going to do this challenge, but since already two of the days (this one from yesterday and today's post) included food, I thought, "I can do this."
I hope pig one and pig two washed their feet before they started tromping all over your carrots! Great illustrative shot though. Ha ha Congrats to your pigs for their big win. I suppose they deserve the major portion of the snack of day. Love it!
Nice capture love carrot sticks and homous dip, yum.
In answer to your question about yesterdays photo, no its not unusual, all farm land fields are stone walled on the moor or hedgerows. It’s only the moorland tops that have no fences or walls, this is where the sheep roam for most of the year until just before lambing and as soon as the lambs are old enough they all go back out on the tops. Hope this answers your question cathy.
@grammyn 😊 @kjarn Thanks. I invite you to attend, but the hours may be difficult. @bkbinthecity Thanks Brian. @mcsiegle Thanks Mary. 🐷🐷 @pusspup Thanks Wylie. Yes, it's wasn't as fattening and sugary as past snacks. But I hope this isn't the trend as the pigs have a real sweet tooth. (cough, cough) @30pics4jackiesdiamond Yes, the china pig has shown up in photos in the past and also attended games, but mostly keeps to herself. @jamibann Great fun! You could attend but it would mean giving up those healthy athletic walks you take with your dear husband. I know what I would choose. Thanks Issi. @wakelys I tried to add some smiles. Taking photos of a zoom call candidly means you get what you get. Mary (bottom left) is smiling. @jb030958 We have a fun time Jennie. @craftymeg Thanks Margaret for the comments about my photo and the additional information about yours. @summerfield Thanks Vikki.
I love my Thursday afternoons with you bonkers Americans!!
