Something to celebrate

I was leaving the library and saw this sign. Just happens I know who lives there and know that she spent almost 6 months in and living close to the hospital about 75 miles from here while she received treatment for her cancer. She's home now and getting stronger every day.
Such good news!! Hope you can visit her soon

i just lost another good friend to brain cancer so while i'm happy for this person and family, there's a feeling of loss for me, the sad thing is i couldn't go to the funeral as there was a limit of attendees due to covid restrictions. nice capture.

Great news! My mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor. I send her something pink every October. I'm glad this family will be celebrating her recovery for a long time!
