@grammyn This book, which I finished last night, btw, is called The Island and is by Elin Hilderbrand. A good beach read with romance and relationships. @kwind Thanks Kim. @bkbinthecity It was a good end of summer read Brian. I wish I had been on the beach reading it because it was that sort of book. @kjarn You are so right. I've gotten a bit picky about books - so many books and so little time left in my life to read them. This was a book club selection and I was very worried I wouldn't like it. I always try to read the book club books, but often don't care for them, so it's like a chore to get through them sometimes. @jamibann The book, a rather worn paperback, was a library book. It also was loaned to the library by another library in the state. It didn't have the pocket where these cards usually go. @wakelys Yes it was. I didn't have to go anywhere or do anything else. @pusspup Don't have to take it back soon but probably will since I finished it last night.
I had to read an assigned book (more on that on my project soon) over the last week and unfortunately, it was quite easy to put it down! Glad yours was different.

May be a late night if I'm not careful. @haskar I'm lucky that I'm usually not troubled with anxiety or that it resolves fairly quickly. @olivetreeann Sounds like what I call a "non-fiction" book. Those are usually much easier for me to put down. For book club, I will do my best to read them. This book was for book club too, and I was delighted to enjoy it.
